Q I have finished this months tax return and when I hit print it only printed the cover
sheet. What is wrong?
A Check schedule 2, in row 21 is there any data? If a row of data is missing when you hit
print the computer scans the schedule for information, not finding any it moves to the next
schedule.
Q I need to talk to a human could you call me?
A Yes or you can call us at the number listed at the top of this page, we will be happy to
help.
Q I lost the directions on how to transmit my fuel tax file would send me a new sheet?
A If you click on the EDI Software Tab at the upper left side of this page it will take you to
our fuel tax page and there is a tab that says FTP transmission, click on this tab and a
printable form with the direction will pop up.
Q I finished my report and printed it then hit the paste button and nothing happened.
What should I look for?
A First review all your schedules, check columns Q and R, do you have the right code in
them? Have you put data directly in a schedule and did not put a code in Q or R? Putting
the schedule code in tells the file where to send the information if there is no code the file is
telling you something is wrong.
Q I finished my report and printed it and found I forgot 2 bills of laden and added them to
the report but they did not add to my total, Whats up with this?
A First I'll walk you through the end of report process. After you enter your last line of
data and think you are done review your data in the report for errors, then go to tab "A"
and go to file and save. Then hit (PRINT A) button. After the report has printed and you
have found you left off some data. You simply close the file with out saving and then
reopen it then enter your forgotten data.
Now how to fix your problem. Go to the schedule you added data to, go to column T if it is
blank the formula needs to be replaced. Click on the line above it that has 0 or a number in
it, click on the T cell then hold the shift button down and arrow right to BT, then let off the
shift button. Now hold the Ctrl button down and hit the C button, let go of the Ctrl button.
Now click on the T cell in the row that is not calculating, hold the Ctrl button down and hit
the V button, lift off the Ctrl button. Your formulas should of filled in. Repeat the highlighted
info for each row not calculating.
Q I have started getting fuel out of another state but still get some loads from Topeka, I
pay Kansas fuel tax to the company I buy the out of state fuel but do not on the fuel out of
Topeka. What schedules do I use?
A For the fuel you get out of Topeka use schedule 2. For the fuel you get from out of
state that you already have paid tax on use schedule 1.
